Project description
This mixed family cottage had been renovated several times and when one family took over, they decided to do a major renovation and addition, transforming the cottage into a year-round destination.
This extensive renovation included:
- A new front entry lowered closer to grade to create a more comfortable approach
- A raised ceiling in the living/dining area with a dormer that faces the lake
- A new screened porch addition
- A larger family room with a fieldstone fireplace, open to the kitchen
- New siding and updated exterior styling
- Common central area with bedroom wings for each family
