Nestled between the Rideau Canal and the Rideau River on a quiet tree-lined street in Ottawa, this home needed a facelift. The family, complete with teenage and adult children, needed more space. Jim Bell Architectural Design Inc. captured the client’s needs, wants and vision to create this beautiful and highly-functional space for the family now and in the future. A Craftsman-style redesign of the exterior gave it new life. A three-level addition/renovation provided a new luxurious master suite, a beautiful, spacious family room, and a basement retreat complete with ensuite bath, study space and walk-in closet for the university student of the family. The old garage was torn down and a new garage built further back to define a private patio/deck area and provide more space in the driveway.
