Modern Craftsman residence embraces its natural surroundings while providing a highly functional home tailored to the needs of a large and active family. With living spaces arranged over two levels, the home is constructed with a frost wall and an insulated heat floor slab on the main level and a heated lightweight topping on the second level. The design carefully compensates for the absence of a basement through the inclusion of generous storage spaces throughout the home.
A defining feature of the design is the extensive use of large windows, strategically placed to capture sweeping views of the surrounding forest and to fill the interior with natural light. The result is a bright, welcoming home that feels deeply connected to its rural landscape.
Main Level
The home opens into a welcoming front foyer that leads directly into the open-concept heart of the house. The kitchen, designed for both everyday living and large gatherings, features two islands and overlooks an expansive dining area capable of accommodating extended family and guests.
